This play of gods and mortals explore classic Elizabethan themes of mistaken identity, love and general chaos. The protagonists, Galatea and Phillida fall in love with each other initially when thinking the other is a man however, when all is revealed, their love is accepted. Other characters have subplots in other parts of the forest, such as Rafe and his brothers attempting to find their own fortune or Cupid's meddling with Diana's nymphs. In this rendition we wanted to focus on the ideas of the lost and found and queer love in a space that felt more environmental than a structured set.
